Lukas 13:10-13 Berbuatlah baik selama kita diberi kesempatan.
Ada dua hal yang bisa kita ambil :
- Tumbuh, tiba-tiba tumbuh tidak sengaja
- Ditanam, ada rencana dan ada tujuan
Kita hidup harus berbuah. Pohon kalau tidak berbuah maka pohon itu tumbuh dengan percuma. Jika kita tidak berbuah, maka pohon itu lebih baik ditebang. Kesimpulannya adalah : KESEMPATAN!
Mazmur 90:10 usia kita hanya 70 tahun. Tuhan sering memberi kita kesempatan. Mari kita gunakan kesempatan untuk berbuat baik, seperti melayani, menjadi Gembala Cool, melakukan penginjilan.
Mengapa Tuhan memberi kesempatabn:
- Karena Tuhan adalah setia, sabar, penuh kasih
- Walaupun masalah kita besar, tapi Allah kita tetap Allah yang baik, selalu menunjukkan kasih setianya

2. Kesempatan untuk menggunakan talenta. Kita harus memperbanyak dan mengembangkan talenta
- Kesempatan menjadi alat Tuhan yang berharga bagi orang lain
- Kesempatan mensyukuri segala yang diizinkan Tuhan dalam hidup kita
Siapa yang seharusnya mendapat kesempatan ?
- Bagi yang sadar bahwa kesalahan/kegagalan tidak boleh menghapus kemahakuasaan Tuhan atau anugerah Tuhan. Jika kita mengalami kegagalan, percayalah bahwa tetap ada anugerah
- Bagi yang mau mengubah hidup dan melakukan koreksi
- Bagi yang mengerti dengan benar bahwa kita tidak bisa melakukan apa-apa tanpa Tuhan
Kita hidup diberkati, disembuhkan karena Tuhan
Ada 3 jenis orang yang beriman dalam menghadapi kesempatan:
- Ada orang yang tidak menyadari atau mengetahui bahwa hidup ini adalah kesempatan.
- Orang yang menyadari bahwa hidup itu kesempatan – berusaha dan berjuang
- Orang yang memiliki iman yang kuat benar-benar menyadari dan beriman
